The land use proposal for Colorado’s Power Pathway has been submitted to Elbert County for a preliminary review. Notice was also sent to nearby property owners and applicable Homeowners’ Associations to encourage public participation in the review process. As your comments are valuable, we hope that you will attend the community meeting.
Colorado’s Power Pathway facilities proposed in Elbert County include approximately 50 miles of 345-kV double-circuit transmission line to be placed in-service by 2027. The proposed route follows existing electric lines south, then follows Colorado Highway 86 east and stair steps southeast to the Elbert and El Paso shared county line and then the Elbert and Lincoln shared county line.
Project staff will be available to provide information about Colorado’s Power Pathway in Elbert County and record your comments or concerns. No formal presentation is planned, so please attend at any time during the meeting.
